If the thief be found let him pay double           Exodus 27:7

But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold    Proverbs 6:31

Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times; but, Until seventy times seven.                                    Matthew 18:22

Then I restored that which I took away.         Psalms 69:4

Under the law, the minimum amount a thief was required to restore was double what he had stolen. Solomon, the king decided seven-fold would be appropriate. Our Lord Jesus, on the other hand, would not only forgive an offence seven times, but seventy times seven. Beyond even that, He restored that which He had not stolen away, the thing of greatest value, that is, eternal life.

Down to the depths of woe Christ came to set me free:
He bared His breast, received the blow, which justice aimed at me! -Anon.

I am glad you had a good at the Farmer's Market. Our little town has a lovely market, tiny, but lovely. I enjoy getting up early on Saturdays and getting there to pick out the best produce.

Have a wonderful week!
